The Dent County Fire Protection District Board of Directors held their November meeting Tuesday evening at the fire station. After the approval of the agenda and the minutes from the previous meeting, the Board reviewed a financial report as well as reviewed and approved bills and their calendar. The monthly reimbursement report presented to the Board showed a total of 18 calls for the month of October that included three structure fire calls, three brush fire calls, one call for a car fire, two first responder calls, four calls for vehicle accidents, one call for haz mat incident, one fire alarm call, and two calls for training. Total calls to date for the year is 226. In new business, the board discussed the truck the Missouri Conservation Department has for the district. Fire Chief Brad Nash reported that the pump testing is now complete and that the ladder testing is still to be scheduled by the company. The next meeting will be December 1st at 6:00 at the fire department. The meeting was then adjourned.
