The Current River Scrappers Quilt Guild is always accepting new members. We have a diverse group with all ages and skill levels. We love to share our knowledge and teach others to quilt.  What better way for a beginner to learn and develop their skills than to spend time with someone who has been quilting for years!  The Guild takes an active role in providing quilts to veterans and wounded soldiers through our Community Quilt Projects.  They’ve provided more than 100 quilts to veteran’s and wounded warriors and will be raffling a patriotic themed quilt to raise money for supplies to make future quilts for this program. The Guild meets the second Monday of each month at the Bank of Salem Courtesy Room on 4th Street in Salem at 7:00 p.m.  Please, feel free to join us for a meeting and see what we’re all about.  If you would like to join the Guild the membership is just $10 annually.  For more information contact Tressa Schafer by calling 729-8102.
