The St. Louis County Police Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at the 2300 block of Forest Leaf Parkway in Wildwood, MO at 6:00 in the morning on September 8th. Missing is Daniel D. Lambert a 43-year old white, male who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes. He was driving a maroon 1997 Ford Ranger bearing Missouri, 8WJ107 and was last seen in the 2300 block of Forest Leaf Parkway in Wildwood, MO. KSMO is putting out this alert as Lambert left a suicide note and a map of the Mark Twain National Forest for Crawford and Washington counties at his residence on September 8th and has not been heard from since. Anyone seeing Lambert or his vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person, should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8225.

The Salem Police Department released their reports involving theft from a storage unit, a shoplifter, and theft of an automobile. On Tuesday morning, August 25th at 9:18, an officer was detailed to the Self Storage located at Highway 32 and Sligo in reference to a theft from a storage unit. The investigation of the report revealed that a person or persons unknown broke into a unit and took items valued at $950.00. That night at 9:00, an officer took a 48-year old Salem female from the St. Francis County Jail to the Dent County Jail in lieu of an active arrest warrant from the City of Salem. She was incarcerated pending a court appearance. At 10:04 that same night, an officer was dispatched to Dollar General in reference to a shoplifter. That investigation revealed a suspect concealed merchandise valued at $3.00 and left the store without paying for it. On Wednesday, August 26th at 7:33 PM, an officer was detailed to Phil-Mart in reference to a shoplifter. The investigation of the report revealed a 38-year old female and a 32-year old male both of Edgar Springs, worked in concert to steal a bottle of vodka valued at $12.49. Further investigation led to the arrest of the two for stealing. The two suspects were issued summonses to appear in court and were released. Later that same night at 10:20, an officer transported a 31-year old female of Union, Missouri from the Franklin County Jail to the Dent County Jail in lieu of an active arrest warrant from the City of Salem. She was incarcerated pending a court appearance. On Thursday, August 27th at 7:33 in the morning, an officer was sent to a residence in the 300 block of West First in reference to the theft of an automobile. That investigation revealed that someone unknown stole a white 1997 Ford Mustang valued at $5,000.00 from in front of a residence. Further investigation led to the recovery of the vehicle in Newburg, Missouri and a male suspect was taken into custody for the theft. The Carson & Barnes Circus will be in Salem on Tuesday, September 15th with two hours of fun, excitement and pageantry for children of all ages. See elephants, horses, ponies and dogs perform amazing tricks and be amazed and thrilled by the extraordinary artists from around the world. Come out early and watch the elephants being washed before the show at 3:30 in the afternoon. The Carson & Barnes Circus will be at the Dent County Commons on Highway 72 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm Tuesday night. General admission is $16 for adults, and $10 for children age 2 to 11 years of age; reserved seats are $18 for adults and $12 for children while the box seats are $22 for adults and $16 per child. Lap children under the age of 2 are free in all sections.

The Salem Football Tigers started fast against the Thayer Bobcats and got out to a 14-0 lead before the Bobcats blocked a punt late in the 2nd quarter and scored two plays later. It was all Thayer from that point as they scored 29 unanswered points for a 29-14 win over the Tigers. Dylan Wisdom and Derek McClain each scored for Salem before Wisdom was injured in the second half and the Tiger offense went flat. Salem is now 2-2 on the year and 1-1 in the SCA. They will travel to Ava Friday night.

Maty Mauk threw three touchdown passes and accounted for 223 yards to lead the No. 21 Tigers to a 27-20 comeback victory over Arkansas State on Saturday night. Mauk also ran for 75 yards on 10 carries. Missouri (2-0) extended its road winning streak to 11 games by rallying from a 17-10 halftime deficit. Kentrell Brothers added 16 more tackles again this week and had a pair of interceptions Saturday. Missouri will host Connecticut this Saturday morning at 11:00 on KSMO Radio.

Tommy Pham hit a tie-breaking, two-run homer in the sixth inning, pinch-hitter Matt Adams added a two-run bomb in a five-run eighth and the St. Louis Cardinals rallied to beat the Cincinnati Reds 9-2 Sunday and avoid getting swept in the four-game series. Michael Wacha pitched six strong innings giving up just three hits and two runs to get his 16th win of the year. The Cards will be off today before opening a three-game set in Milwaukee Tuesday night.

Chris Davis hit his league-leading 42nd home run, Jonathan Schoop added a pair of solo shots and the Baltimore Orioles took the three-game series against the Kansas City Royals with an 8-2 victory Sunday night. The Royals play the Indians tonight at 6:10. The Royals have lost eight of the last ten games.

Greg Zuerlein kicked a 37-yard field goal in overtime and the Rams survived an 18-point fourth-quarter rush by the Seattle Seahawks, beating the two-time defending NFC champions 34-31 in an opener Sunday. Nick Foles was 18-27 passing for 297 yards and a touchdown and he also rushed for a touchdown, while Tavon Austin scored on a 75-yard punt return and on a 16-yard run. The Rams will be at Washington next Sunday.

Alex Smith threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns in the first half as the Kansas City Chiefs built a big lead and held on for a 27-20 victory over the mistake-prone Texans on Sunday. Travis Kelce caught two touchdown passes in the first quarter and the Chiefs had five sacks, two by Allen Bailey. Kansas City will host Denver Thursday night.

Funeral services for Louise (Smith) Flatt of Salem, age 75, will be held this morning at 11:00 at the James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem. Interment will be in the Mt. Herman Cemetery.

Funeral services for Susie Blanton of Steelville, age 64, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville. Visitation will be held from today from 5:00 to 8:00. Interment will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Steelville.

Funeral services for Robert Hiam of St. James, age 85, will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the St. James Chapel of James and Gahr Mortuary. Visitation will be held Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in St. Louis Wednesday at 3:00 with full military honors.
