Mayor Gary Brown reported on the Planning and Zoning Board hearing and meeting on the subdividing of lot 84 Block “W” of the Douglas Addition and there was no opposition. The board approved to draw up an ordinance to allow the subdivision. The board approved the transplanting of eleven 3-4 inch wide trunk ash trees from the treatment plant and moves them to the city park for $1,900. The money will come from the public grounds fund. They also approved Bill #3122 that allows the city to write off old outstanding utility bills prior to December 31, 2002 of $201,173.53.
