Today is the final day to support the local toy drives before distribution tomorrow. The Salvation Army “Angel Tree” has children who still need to be sponsored at Wal-Mart. Tags are on the “Angel” Christmas tree at the front of the store. Additionally, the Dent County Toy Drive at the Dent County Fire Station is in need of additional funds and toys. Both drives are serving 224 children this year. That is more than DOUBLE the amount of children from 2013.
