Two young brothers from Ellington, a two-year old and a two-month old, died early Saturday in a house fire in Bunker. A woman and three other children managed to escape the early morning blaze. Reynolds County Sheriff Tom Volner said the victims were sleeping in the home's front room when the blaze erupted. Sheriff Volner stated that the victims did not live at the small frame home located on Highway 72 as a friend of their mother was watching the children. Sheriff Volner said investigators don't know what started the fire, or if the cause is suspicious. The Missouri State Fire Marshal sent an investigator to help determine what sparked the fire. The names of the boys have not yet been released.
