Blaine Gabbert threw for 332 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions for the Tigers (4-2, 0-2). Derrick Washington had a rushing TD, while Danario Alexander amassed 186 yards and a touchdown on nine grabs.

The Kansas City Royals announced Friday that utility player Willie Bloomquist and right-hander Roman Colon had successful surgeries. Bloomquist underwent routine arthroscopic cleanup procedures on both knees. Colon had an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee. Both are expected to be ready for spring training.
