The Salem Board of Aldermen held their regular meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers Monday night. Darin Brents was scheduled to appear to discuss the water disconnect ordinance, but did not arrive until late in the meeting, after the hearing of persons. He will have to reschedule for the next meeting to speak. The board approved his recommendation and rejected all bids. Brown said that if a person needs to have electric for a breathing apparatus or other medical need, the generator at the old city hall would be running both days to provide electric.
