Chris Kelly's two goals were the difference as Ottawa topped St. Louis, 4-2, at Scottrade Center. Barret Jackman and Brad Boyes scored for the Blues, who have lost six of eight. Curtis Sanford stopped 19-of-22 shots in the loss. With the game tied 2-2 early in the third period, Gerber appeared to keep the game tied when he dove across the crease and robbed Boyes from the left side with his glove before the puck crossed the goal line. Upon review several minutes later, it was revealed that the puck did cross the line completely. Unfortunately for the Blues, since the review did not take place at the first stoppage of play following the shot, it could not legally be ruled a goal. The Blues had another goal waved off due to a premature whistle with 2:18 left in regulation, drawing the ire of head coach Andy Murray and several players.

NHL Scores:

Florida 4, Philadelphia 1
Columbus 5, Chicago 2
Tampa Bay 4, NY Islanders 3 (OT)
