The Dent County Sheriff’s Office has released their reports. On Saturday, March 1st, Deputy Cochran was traveling west on Highway 32 when he observed a white Ford Ranger and he recognized the driver as having a revoked drivers' license. Dispatch confirmed the revoked status. The suspect, Mr. Kevin Taylor, pulled into the parking lot of Bigo's restaurant and Deputy Cochran observed him exit his vehicle and run into the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant came out and informed Deputy Cochran that Mr. Taylor had just ran into the men's restroom. Deputy Cochran waited for Mr. Taylor to come back outside. Before walking back inside the restaurant to search the bathroom, the owner met Deputy Cochran at the door. The owner advised him that after Mr. Taylor left the bathroom he went in directly in after him and found a brown paper towel on the floor near the toilet. Deputy Cochran discovered that the paper towel was wrapped around two plastic baggies and cellophane. The tablets were identified as Morphine. During a search of Mr. Taylor, his key chain contained two small metal containers. Inside of each container was observed a powder substance and they field tested positive for Methamphetamine. Mr. Taylor was arrested, transported to the Dent County Jail, and placed on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of warrants. A warrant was later issued and bond was set at $5,000.00. He posted a bond and was released. Later that day, deputies conducted a search warrant at the #1 South Warfel. During a search of the residence two metal spoons were located. Both spoons field tested positive for Opiates. Mrs. Clarissa Luce was arrested and placed in the Dent County Jail pending warrants. She is currently being held on a $3,000.00 bond for possession of a controlled substance. On Thursday, March 6th, deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Dent County Road 6200 for a report of a burglary. Deputies made contact with the reporting party, a 61-year old Salem female, at the residence. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that a laptop and a tablet style computer had been taken from the residence. No signs of forced entry were evident and the investigation is ongoing. On Sunday, March 9th, deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of County Road 3280 in regards to a vehicle theft. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the Mr. William Roulston, who informed deputies that his brother, Mr. Roy Raulston, owned the vehicle but was currently at work. William Roulston stated that he was at the residence on March 7th cutting wood on the property and the truck was there and secured. Upon returning to the residence on March 9th, the truck was missing from the shed. The truck stolen from the residence was a 1983 model Chevrolet two-wheel drive, regular cab, short bed, pick-up truck. The truck was red and black in color with the cab being red and the bed being black. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation continues. Jamie Benn buried the game winner 3:42 into overtime, as the Dallas Stars secured a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday at Scottrade Center. Alex Pietrangelo and Roman Polak each potted a goal for St. Louis, which set a franchise record with at least one point in its 20th consecutive division game, improving to 18-0-2 this season against other teams from the Central. The Blues will host the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday at 7:00.

Zach Lutz's solo home run in the ninth inning gave the New York Mets a 9-8 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Grapefruit League play. Kolten Wong smacked a two-run home run while Allen Craig and Daniel Descalso each drove in two runs. Adam Wainwright gave up a run on two hits in 3 1/3 innings. The Cardinals play the Mets at 12:10 this afternoon.

Noel Cuevas hit a three-run home run in his only at-bat in the top of the ninth to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 7-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals. Justin Maxwell was 3-for-5 with two RBI, Carlos Peguero picked up two RBI and Brett Hayes had an RBI single in his lone at-bat. Jason Vargas gave up one run on four hits through four innings. The Royals will play the Athletics at 3:05 today.

For the second consecutive season Mizzou Basketball had a pair of players named to the All-Southeastern Conference Team by the league coaches as Jabari Brown earned First Team accolades and Jordan Clarkson was named to the Second Team. Brown's selection to the First Team marks the fourth consecutive year a Tiger has won first team honors. 

The St. Louis Rams have released veteran cornerback Cortland Finnegan. Finnegan was due $6 million in base salary plus a $3 million signing bonus due by March 13th.

Funeral services for Robert Phillip Magnin of St. James, age 88, will be held this morning at 10:30 at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in St. James. Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Johns Lutheran Church. All arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary in St. James.

Funeral services for Rene Patterson of Salem will be held at 1:00 this afternoon at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Bunker. Visitation will be from 11:00 this morning until time of service. Interment will be in the West Fork Sutterfield Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the West Fork Sutterfield Cemetery Association.

Funeral services for Norman Floyd Light of Salem, age 74, will be held Thursday at 2:00 at Wilson Mortuary in Salem. Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time. Interment will be in the Weese Cemetery in Timber. Memorials may be made to the family.

Graveside services for Linda Sue Parker of Salem, age 56, will be held Friday at 11:00 at the Boss Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Wilson Mortuary in Salem. Interment will be in the Boss Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
