There will be rooms set up with ongoing videos that deal with the drug issues that our community currently faces or could be facing in the future. There will be four inspirational recovering addicts that will give testimonials to our community and youth to show that we can fight this problem!  There will also be a question/answer time with these individuals. The night will offer parents and guardians a chance to know that there is help out there, if they feel that their child is at risk of getting involved with drugs. The night will give students an easier way to say “no” or more reasons to say “no”, and the night will help in working on bonding family relationships that that might have been or could be affected by youth drug problems. This event is a result of several meetings or various community members and organizations. If any group or organization is interested in helping with the cause, please contact Salem R-80 Superintendent Steve Bryant at 729-6642 to be placed on the contact list for future meetings.
