The Salem Tiger Boy’s basketball team will be playing Sullivan tonight in the Semi-Final game of the Class 4, District 9 playoff in Union at 7:30. Salem is 13-13 on the year and you’ll be able to hear the game on KSMO and ksmoradio.com.
Brad Marchand scored twice as the Boston Bruins doubled up the St. Louis Blues, 4-2, at Scottrade Center on Wednesday night. Chris Stewart and Ryan Reaves tallied for the Blues, who have dropped two in a row. Brian Elliott was shelled for four goals on only 19 shots in defeat. The Blues will be in Nashville tonight to face the Predators at 7:00. KSMO will broadcast the beginning of the Blues, take you to the Salem game, and then take you back to the Blues game for the third period.

Funeral services for Sharleen M. Berger of Jadwin, age 68, will be held this morning at 10:00 at the James and Gahr Mortuary of Salem. Interment will be in the Empire Cemetery in Gladden.
Funeral services for Carl Young of Salem, age 84, will be held today at 2:00 at the Rock Springs Baptist Church near Licking. All arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home in Licking.
Funeral services for Leah Tune of Salem, age 96, will be held Saturday at 1:00 at the James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem. Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of service. Interment will be in the North Lawn Cemetery in Salem.
Funeral services for Martha D. Halbrook of Salem, age 91, will be Saturday at 1:00 at the Dent County Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of service. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Melvin Thomas Lampley of Salem, age 72, passed away February 19
th and was cremated and there will be no service. Arrangements were under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary in Salem.
