The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will host the Mountain View/Liberty Eagles tonight in a key SCA Conference matchup. Salem is 3-0 in the SCA and 10-9 overall. You can hear the game tonight on KSMO Radio or on-line at www.ksmoradio.com.
The Salem Lady Tigers are seeded third in the district that will be held at Owensville this year. They will face Union in the first round of the district on Monday, February 19th at 6:30. If Salem wins that game, the Lady Tigers will face the Sullivan Lady Eagles who beat Salem earlier this year.
The Missouri Tigers will try to get back on the winning track tonight as they will be at Iowa State starting at 6:30. You can hear the pre-game show at 6:30 and part of the first half before KSMO breaks away to bring you Salem Tigers Basketball. You can hear the second half of the Missouri game on a taped delayed basis right after the Salem game. Missouri enters the game with a 13-8 record and they are 2-6 in the Big 12.
The St. Louis Blues will be back in action tonight as they will host the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Blues have won five of their last eight games and still remain eight points out of playoff spot. KSMO will NOT air the game due to the Missouri and Salem games.

It’s spring training time as pitchers and catchers are due in Florida for the Cardinals by Friday. With some questions to be answered this year in the rotation and bullpen, a lot of emphasis will be placed on the pitching situation this spring. Funeral services for Thelma Bernadean Holland of House Springs, formerly of Salem, age 81, will be held this morning at 11:00 at the Wilson Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
A memorial service for Robert F. Rehmus of Steelville, formerly of Leasburg and Bourbon, will to today at 4:00 at the Injoy Christian Fellowship in Bourbon.
Funeral services for Ruth Maureen Craft of St. James, age 44, will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the James & Gahr Chapel in St. James. Visitation will be tonight from 6:00 to 8:00. Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family of Ruth Craft.
