Reynolds County Sheriff Tom Volner says that a Millstadt, Illinois father and his two children have died after they reportedly got lost on the Ozark Trail in Reynolds County near Sutton's Bluff on Saturday. According to the report, 36-year old David Decareaux went on a hike with his sons, 8-year old Grant and 10-year old Dominic Saturday morning from the Brushy Creek Lodge on the trail toward Sutton's Bluff when temperatures were near 60. Deputies began searching for the group Saturday night, but high water and bad weather forced them to stop until Sunday morning. When the search resumed, the father was found dead and both boys were still alive, but barely. They were given CPR and were taken to the hospital in Ellington where they died Sunday afternoon.
