After approval of the agenda and the minutes from their previous meeting, bills were reviewed and approved. The Board reviewed the 2014 budget, amended, balanced and then closed it. The 2015 budget was reviewed, and then a motion was made and carried to accept the 2015 budget as presented. In the monthly reimbursement report, there were a total of 13 calls for December 2014 that included two calls for structure fires, one call for a flue fire, two calls for landing zones, three first responder calls, three calls for vehicle accidents, one call for a meeting, and one call for training. Toys were handed out to 205 kids with a great turnout for help and donations. The Board wanted to give a special thank you to all that donated their time and the donations to allow the children of Dent County to have a Christmas.
